What type of glazing do I need for my Jet Wash Screen?

At UK Jet Wash Screens we offer 4 main types of glazing for your screen. The first 2 options are both polycarbonate multi-wall. Our go-to material is 25mm multi-wall. This is a strong, semi transparent material. It lets in a lot of light and is rigid yet lightweight. We are able to span large areas with it and are confident it will stand up to all that is thrown at it.

The next material is 16mm multi-wall. It has all the same properties as 25mm, but is slightly less rigid. This is the preferred option for our budget range of screens. If you are working to a tight budget, this is the one to go for. Please note, we would not recommend this option for for high load applications such as in an open high wind area.

The deluxe option we offer is 11.5mm laminated safety glass. It is totally transparent and gives a premium feel to the screen. This is a type of safety glass that holds together when shattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by a polymer interlayer, between its two layers of glass.

We also offer 6mm solid polycarbonate, for some specialist applications where clarity and impact resistance are required. There are, however some negatives to be considered when using 6mm polycarbonate.

If transparency is not a factor in the decision process, and also for some more industrial applications, we also offer profiled steel sheeting. This is a budget friendly alternative to glazing and is available in many RAL colours.
